The present success of KUBUS Mini Storage is the result of objective market research in the United States; cradle for storage companies and virtual office environments. The first KUBUS branch was established in Rotterdam in January 2000. The present director, Rolf van Berkel, initiated the unique KUBUS service for the Netherlands in the form of a licence for the RentPlus software package, aimed specifically at the business sector.
